Dr. Struening is originally from Ringoes, NJ, and graduated from Delaware Valley College in 2008 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Science, where she majored in small animal science and minored in large animal science. In 2016, she graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Struening started working at NHVH in 2010 as a technician during undergrad and would come back to gain experience during her spring and summer breaks from veterinary school while attending Auburn. Upon graduation from Auburn, she moved back to the northeast. Since graduation, she has worked at multiple small animal/mixed animal practices around the New Jersey and Pennsylvania area and is currently the full-time veterinarian at NHVH. Dr. Struening enjoys general practice medicine, as well as surgery, dermatology, internal medicine, and mixed animal medicine. In her spare time, Dr. Struening enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris, and their dog, Delilah, in addition to their cat, Gus. When she’s not at the clinic, Dr. Struening loves being outdoors, cooking, watching SEC football, and traveling to new places.
